Saturday’s Wall Street Journal featured a story on the T-Rex skeletons being assembled by Phil Fraley and Luis Chiappe for Dinosaur Mysteries at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. New discoveries and technology are continually changing what we know about dinosaurs and how they are portrayed in exhibits. “As he inspected the skeletons last week, Dr. Chiappe acknowledged the balance of scholarship and surmise that went into the exhibit. ‘Some of these conclusions are not written in stone,’ he said. ‘There are many things about animals that lived millions of years ago that we do not know and that probably we will never know.’”
